Conservation

Small plants should still leave a bigger place for nature.

AloeThere gives 2% of profits to conservation, beginning with the Arbor Day Foundation. It is a practical promise: sell plants, put money back into living systems, and keep the work visible.

2%

Profit set aside

A portion of every profitable sale is reserved for conservation work, starting with tree planting through the Arbor Day Foundation.

500M+

Trees planted

The Arbor Day Foundation has helped plant more than 500 million trees across forests, neighborhoods, and watersheds.

Long term

Built into the business

This is not a seasonal campaign. We want conservation to stay attached to the way AloeThere grows.

Why Trees

Tree planting is a clear place to start.

Trees are not a full answer to climate change, and we do not want to pretend they are. They are still one of the most direct ways a small company can help repair habitat, cool neighborhoods, hold soil in place, and support cleaner water.

The Arbor Day Foundation gives us a reliable first partner while AloeThere is still growing. Their work reaches forests, cities, and communities that need long-lived planting, not quick photo opportunities.

Support replanting in places damaged by fire, storms, and heavy clearing.

Back work that protects soil, shade, water, and habitat, not just tree counts.

Keep the promise simple enough that customers can understand where the money goes.

What Comes Next

A future home for rare plants.

Our longer term goal is to create a botanical conservation space focused on rare and endangered plants. We want it to be useful first: a place for propagation, education, careful record keeping, and community access.

That vision will take time, land, expertise, and the right partners. For now, AloeThere is starting with a promise we can keep today while building toward a more direct role in plant conservation.
